Noble Way Foundation has been providing 100% FREE cataract eye surgeries in Coorg District, in Southern India. To-date, the foundation has performed thousands of free eye examinations for the elderly and conducted close to hundred cataract eye surgeries since November of 2005.
It approximately costs INR 5,000 (approx. $100) for a cataract surgery per eye. This cost includes the eye examination, surgery, transportation, food, accommodation and administration costs for the needy elderly person. Be a part of this great experience and give the gift of vision to a needy elderly person who can age with dignity. Cataract surgeries are performed at Mysore Race Club Eye Hospital, Mysore. Noble Way Foundation plans to repeat the eye camp for the elderly once every year.
Apart from regular eye examinations, Noble Way conducts free diabetes and blood pressure screening tests for the elderly on the camp day.
